Overview
Planmeca PlanMill 60 S is a 5-axis dental milling unit for wet and dry processing. It mills discs, blocks and custom implant abutments and features an automatic tool changer for up to 10 tools. As an open solution it integrates with any scanner workflow to support in-house production of accurate restorative and prosthetic components.

Application
Designed for dental laboratories, dental technicians and clinical practices. Supports indications including single-unit restorations, implant abutments, bite splints, crowns and bridges, and, where supported, bars and partial frames.

Materials and processing
Capable of wet and dry milling of a wide range of materials:

• Zirconia
• Lithium disilicate
• Pre-milled titanium abutments
• PMMA
• Wax

Fixtures and handling
Quick-change material holders and a half-open blank holder enable efficient clamping and milling of demanding anterior restorations. The platform-based design with interchangeable clamping fixtures allows future expansion and the addition of new holders.

Software integration
Direct integration with Planmeca PlanCAD® Premium transfers milling parameters and instructions to the mill. The unit works with Planmeca PlanCAM™ for nesting and toolpath calculation; PlanCAM supports open STL files and accepts designs from other CAD systems.
