Overview
A modern rehabilitation bed designed for long-term care and temporary support of patients who are ill, elderly or with reduced mobility. The Lynx MED facilitates safe transfers, repositioning and comfort in supine or seated positions while enabling ergonomic care by professionals.

SCISSOR-LIFT BED FRAME
Scissor-lift design ensures uniform support along the mattress platform and high stability during height adjustment. The wide adjustment range supports safe patient egress and transfers to wheelchairs and allows caregivers to work at ergonomic heights. Frame manufactured from powder-coated steel profiles for intensive daily use.

Height adjustment
Range of approximately 48 cm (approx. 32–80 cm with Ø100 mm castors). Low position (~32 cm) reduces fall risk and eases patient egress; high position provides comfortable working height for clinical staff.

METAL SIDE RAILS SYSTEM
Head- and foot-end rail sections can be lowered independently to assist mobilisation without unduly restricting movement. Side-rail design conforms to EN 60601-2-52.

Bed ends
Bed ends are made of moisture-, chemical- and scratch-resistant CDF Swiss board; flame-retardant and easy to clean. Removable bed-end system available for maintenance and transport.

Control
Ergonomic 8-function handset with a lockout option for safe operation. Controls support adjustment of backrest, legrest, tilt and overall height.

Additional functional features
Accessory sockets at the head end for patient lifting pole or IV pole, dedicated transport adapter for compact transport/assembly, and optional bed extension kit (+20 cm) with extended side rails (self-assembly).

Castors
Four Ø100 mm castors with individual brakes. Castor housing: steel; wheel: polypropylene with thermoplastic rubber tread for smooth rolling and floor protection.
