The Humerus Set 10-399 positions the upper arm of a side-lying patient and enables controlled traction and reduction of forearm fractures for casting. It is intended for use with a hand traction device that secures the patient's fingers and connects to the operating table via rotatable clamps.

Coarse positioning is achieved by pulling the traction device inside the sleeve and locking the position; final adjustment is made by turning the crank until the fractured arm is correctly aligned.
