OverviewThe SR 300 rotor beater mill performs coarse and fine size reduction for dry, soft to medium‑hard, organic and inorganic materials. Optional cyclone separation is available for improved discharge and gentle processing of heat‑sensitive samples.
Product Advantages- Wide range of accessories: feeding systems, multiple rotor types and sieves
- Defined final fineness via bottom sieves (apertures 0.08–10 mm)
- Optional 180° grinding inserts for additional impact on hard‑brittle materials
- Gravity outlet with 5 L standard or 30 L collecting vessel for batch collection
- Optional cyclone unit with collecting vessel sizes 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 or 30 L
- Optional distance rotor to reduce frictional heat
- Adjustable speed in steps (3,000–10,000 min-1)
- Removable hopper for easy loading and cleaning
- Easy maintenance with exchangeable push-fit grinding insert, rotor and cassette
- Central quick‑acting locking device for fast access
- Grinding chamber, feed hopper and in/outlets made of stainless steel
- Electric motor brake for safe stopping
Application ExamplesBentonite, chemicals, coal, coke, pharmaceuticals, feed pellets, fertilizers, food, graphite, gypsum, herbs, plant materials, plastics, powder coatings, resins, rice, salts, seeds, soils, spices, sugar, etc.
Functional PrincipleSize reduction and deagglomeration are achieved by impact and shear. Material fed from the hopper enters the grinding chamber and is comminuted between rotor, sieve and grinding inserts. Particles smaller than the sieve aperture pass through the gravity outlet into the collector. A downstream filter separates airborne fines. The optional cyclone cools the sample and tools and improves discharge from the chamber. Safety features include a quick‑acting door lock, safety switch and inlet/outlet barriers.
