The chemagic™ cfDNA Kits are designed for cell-free DNA isolation from plasma or serum. Depending on sample volume or throughput, different kit options are available. These kits deliver high recovery rates of circulating DNA fragments for liquid biopsy research applications including cancer, prenatal testing, and molecular testing. Overview The chemagic cfDNA 1.5k Kit H96 is used to process up to 1.5 ml of 96 serum/plasma samples (fresh or frozen, treated with EDTA, or Streck Cell-free DNA BCT tubes). Using the chemagic cfDNA kits, you can benefit from the fast automated workflow with on-board lysis. There is no heating step required. The yield of isolated cfDNA is consistent and comparable to manual methods and the purified cell-free DNA can be used for common downstream applications. Magnetic bead-based technology provides high recovery rates of circulating DNA fragments with reduced contamination. The isolated cfDNA is suitable for NGS, digital PCR, and mutation testing workflows in research laboratories.
