Product overview
The S W1 water-cooling unit for the milling spindle is an alternative to turbine-based wet machining and enables wet processing of zirconia ceramics with an electric milling spindle. It allows machining of all-ceramic parts without requiring a turbine conversion and provides particularly precise results for applications such as 0° primary crowns when used with a bearing clearance-free electric spindle. The S W1 supports digital manufacturing workflows for ceramic dental components and similar precision parts.

Using the S W1 with the S3 Premium
The S3 Premium and S W1 are designed to work together and enable wet zirconia machining with water cooling at speeds up to 80,000 rpm when used in compatible setups.

Special notes
The S W1 fits the following milling machines: S1 Basic, S2 Master, S2 Profi, S3 Master and S3 Premium, and other devices equipped with the current Schick milling spindle. Degussa F1 users can operate the S W1 in combination with the upgrade set Art.No. 2600. Article number of the S W1: 2990.
