SCREENVET PRRSV AB Porcine Reproductie and Respiratou Syndrome Virus Ab REF: SCV-1606-10 The PRRSV Antibody Rapid Cassette Test (Serum/Plasma) is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Reproductive Viruses and Porcine Respiratory Syndrome in serum or plasma. The PRRSV Antibody Rapid Cassette Test (Serum/Plasma) is a qualitative immunological membrane test with a double antigen system for the detection of antibodies to porcine respiratory and reproductive syndrome viruses in serum or plasma. The membrane is pre-coated with recombinant PRRSV antigens. During the test, PRRSV antibodies, if present in the serum or plasma sample, react to the PRRSV antigen that covers the test strip. The compound then chromatographically migrates upward on the membrane by capillary action and reacts with the recombinant PRRSV antigens on the membrane in the test line area. If the sample contains Respiratory virus antibodies Pig reproductive, a colored line appears in the test line area, indicating a positive result. If the sample does not contain Respiratory virus antibodies & amp; Reproductive pig, no colored line appears in the test line area indicating a negative result. As a procedural control, a colored line will always appear in the control line region, indicating that an adequate volume of sample has been used and that the membrane has soaked properly.
