Description
The Leptospira Spp Dog Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of canine Leptospira antibodies (LeptoAb) in canine serum or plasma. The ScreenVet Leptospira SSP AB is a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic test. The test device has a viewing window for observing the test and reading the results. The viewing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone. When the processed sample is applied to the cassette’s sampling port, the liquid flows laterally across the surface of the test strip and reacts with the pre-coated recombinant Lepto antigens. If LeptoAb is present in the sample, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after the sample is applied, indicating a valid result. This allows the device to indicate the presence of LeptoAb in the sample.
