SCREENVET CALICIVIRUS AG Feline Calicivirus Ag TestFeline Calicivirus Ag Test REF: SCV-1989-10 The FCV Antigen (Secretions) rapid cassette test is a sandwich side scrolling immunochromatographic test for the quantitative detection of the Feline Calicivirus Virus (FCV Ag) antigen in the nasal/ocular secretions of cats. The FCV Antigen rapid cassette test is based on sandwich side scrolling immunochromatographic analysis. The test cassette has an analysis window. The analysis window is equipped with an invisible area T (test) and a C (control). When the sample is poured onto the cassette, the liquid flows sideways over the surface of the test strip. If there is enough feline Calicivirus antigen in the sample, a visible T line will appear in the T zone. The C line must always appear after adding the sample, confirming the validity of the result. In this way, the cassette can accurately indicate the presence of Feline Calicivirus antigen in the sample.
