Our lead glass is fabricated from high-lead optical glass material. It delivers high light transmittance, powerful radiation resistance, stable chemical performance, pinhole-free structure, superior shielding capacity, high rigidity and long service life.
Lead oxide glass takes SiO₂ as the primary component blended with PbO at a content of approximately 20%. Some formulations contain boron trioxide. It normally achieves light transmittance above 98% and features a high specific gravity.
Product Performance
Commonly applied for radiation-shielded observation windows and ray protection purposes.
Meets cleanliness standards required for hospitals and other relevant facilities.
Manufactured by mixing a high proportion of lead oxide into the glass melt.
Crystal clear, free of impurities and air bubbles.
Premium durable structure, elegant appearance and high light transmittance.
Reliable quality with test inspection available, complying with protective standards for diagnostic X-rays.
