Description

Radial Artery Compression Device / Tourniquet Rotate type(Radial) Features: 1.Medical grade silicone safe for blood contact. 2.Clear dial provides easy monitoring of puncture site. 3.Pressure indication, convenient to adjust compression pressure for nursing staff. 4.Curved surface silicone available, less pressure achieving vascular hemostasis, more comfortable for patient. 5.Comfortable band, available in three size: 18cm, 22cm, 26cm. IFU: 1.Open the package and remove the compression device. 2.Loosen the Velcro tab and pass the compression device over the hand. 3.Align the centre of pressure plate with a gauze pad over the sheath access point, pull the fixing strap tight and secure using the Velcro tab. 4.Tighten the pressure plate by turning the rotator to stop the immediate blood loss. Do not fasten the rotator too tightly. 5.While slowly removing the Sheath tighten the pressure plate by turning the rotator until hemostasis is achieved Take care not to over tighten, it is advisable to retain some pulse. Note: The pressure indications on the side of the rotator are for convenience only. Note: The pressure required to achieve hemostasis may vary from patient to patient. 6.Compression should be maintained for at least 30 minutes. 7.The compression device can be loosened every 15 – 30 minutes by turning the rotator until un assisted hemostasis is achieved. 8.Once full hemostatis is achieved, withdraw the plate back to the strap plate using the rotator and undo the Velcro to remove the compression device completely. 10)Discard the compression device in accordance with medical waste protocols after use.
