Product overviewVivacon® 2 ETO centrifugal concentrators enable rapid DNA concentration and PCR primer removal for samples up to 2 ml. They use low-binding Hydrosart® regenerated cellulose membranes positioned horizontally for optimal recovery. Compatible with fixed-angle rotors that accept 15 ml centrifuge tubes. Reverse spinning into the upper recovery cap simplifies sample retrieval. Devices are sterilized by a dual-cycle ethylene oxide (ETO) gas process to a SAL of 10⁻⁶ and tested by qPCR (55 cycles) with a detection limit of 2 pg, ensuring no detectable human genomic DNA contamination.
