Short descriptionAptaHot Taq DNA Polymerase HC is an aptamer-based HotStart Taq DNA polymerase (30 U/µl) designed for room-temperature reaction setup and reliable activation during thermal cycling. The high-concentration HC variant is suitable for lyophilization and diagnostic kit manufacturing. Not available via the internet shop.
DetailsAptaHot Taq employs DNA aptamers that reversibly dissociate from the enzyme above 50 °C, providing HotStart control without antibodies. The recombinant enzyme amplifies fragments up to 5 kb with high specificity, reducing unspecific products and primer-dimers. It performs well on complex genomic and cDNA templates. The enzyme is supplied with three different 10x buffers (with and without MgCl2) and additional MgCl2 for universal application.
Applications- Standard PCR
- Real-time PCR (qPCR)
- Multiplex PCR
- Diagnostic kit development and production
