Description
Proteinase K is a non-specific serine protease with high specific activity (30 U/mg). The enzyme retains activity and stability in the presence of SDS, EDTA and chaotropic salts. Recommended working concentration for nucleic acid extraction is 50–100 µg/mL. This product is supplied at 20 mg/mL and is also available as lyophilized powder for alternative workflows. Store at −20 °C.
