Description
Proteinase K is a non-specific serine protease with very high specific activity (30 U/mg). The enzyme retains activity and stability in the presence of SDS, EDTA and chaotropic salts. It is free of RNase and DNase activities. This ready-to-use solution has a concentration of 20 mg/mL; Proteinase K is also available as lyophilized powder. Store at −20 °C.
