Overview
The TOP-2500 is a volumetric infusion pump designed to administer medical fluids in a controlled, preset manner for a wide range of infusion therapies. It is a lightweight, compact device engineered for straightforward preparation and stepwise operation from top to bottom.

Operation and Design
The pump offers two operation modes: a General mode accepting compatible infusion sets, and an H-Series mode that provides enhanced control and accuracy when used with designated TOP H-Series infusion sets. The IV tubing is routed along a guided slot with peristaltic fingers and passes upstream and downstream occlusion sensors plus an air-in-line detector, all secured behind a front access door. A tube clamp prevents free flow when the door is open. Illuminated keys and a door light support operation in low-light environments.

Safety
Events are signalled by audible alarms and multi-coloured indicators. An internal rechargeable battery supports continued operation during power loss or patient transport and can provide up to 4 hours of operation when fully charged.
