Overview
Form Cure L V2 precisely combines heat and 405 nm light to deliver tough, strong prints with unprecedented speed and consistency. It is a large-format post-curing solution for resin 3D printed parts that maximizes material properties and improves part performance. Post-curing completes the chemical reaction started during printing, enhancing final part strength, toughness, heat resistance and creep resistance while creating a harder, less tacky surface. For biocompatible materials, post-curing is necessary to meet regulatory safety standards.

Performance and usability
Form Cure L V2 offers much faster cure cycles and quicker heat-up times than the previous generation, with increased UV output (5× more UV power vs prior generation), faster heat-up, and a reduced footprint (26% smaller while curing up to 19% larger parts). Users can select validated presets for Formlabs materials (45+ profiles) or set custom time and temperature. Typical performance: near-instant heat-up (60 °C in ~150 s and 80 °C in ~360 s for the 230V version) and rapid post-curing — many general-purpose resins cure in as little as ~60 s for large Form 4L/BL prints.

Notes on curing times
Examples (230V version): 60 °C in ~150 seconds; 80 °C in ~360 seconds. General-purpose resins can often be post-cured in ~60 seconds; engineering and biocompatible resins typically require 3–15 minutes depending on material and profile.
