Product overviewThe disposable linear stitch combiner is a single-use surgical device designed to close stumps or incisions during digestive tract reconstruction and organ resection. It enables precise tissue approximation and controlled suture placement, facilitating consistent wound closure while reducing operative steps.
Scope of applicationIntended for closure of stumps or incisions in digestive tract reconstruction and organ resection procedures.
How to use- Inspect aseptic packaging; open and remove the device after confirming package integrity and absence of damage.
- Remove the red protective cover from the staple cartridge.
- Place the instrument on the tissue to be sutured; advance the positioning needle into the positioning hole. If misaligned, verify component installation.
- For a single firing, maintain a clear field; arrange tissues to avoid entrapment of adjacent organs; check alignment of the positioning rod push plate arrow with the black mark on the fixed handle; if needed, advance the positioning pin to align.
- For double firing, clamp tissue to be excised and return the handle to its original position between firings.
- Complete the final firing by fully depressing the firing handle.
- After firing, excise any excess tissue with a scalpel as required.
- Press the reset button to release the instrument.
- To replace components: confirm firing handle is reset, pull the positioning rod push plate to the bottom, remove used components, install sterile spare components, confirm needle and rod movement and alignment, remove protective cover, then repeat steps above.
Features and advantages- Precise tissue approximation: Achieves accurate and consistent wound closure with controlled, evenly distributed sutures to minimize tension and reduce dehiscence risk.
- Streamlined surgical efficiency: Reduces need for multiple individual sutures and knot tying, saving operating time and reducing surgeon fatigue.
- Versatile suture technique: Compatible with interrupted and continuous suturing; maintains consistent tension across the suture line.
- Improved patient outcomes: Contributes to shorter operative/anesthesia time, faster recovery and improved cosmetic results.
