How to use

• 1. Open the sterile package and remove the stapler body and cartridge without removing protective covers. Align the marking on the metal tube end of the cartridge with the ↑ marker on the stapler head, press down and rotate clockwise until the blue UNLOAD button resets, indicating the cartridge is locked in place. If the cartridge turns gently counterclockwise, it is engaged.
• Note 1: If assembly is difficult, ensure the black reset button on the body is fully depressed and check protective cover placement.
• Note 2: Do not remove the cartridge protective cover before assembly; premature removal may prevent proper assembly or knife reset after firing, preventing head opening and tissue removal.
• 2. Remove the cartridge protective cover, close the cartridge head using the movable handle and introduce the instrument to the surgical site. If the head will not close smoothly, re-cover and reassemble per instructions; forcing closure may damage internal components.
• 3. Pull the black reset button back to open the cartridge head (if assembly is rotatable, adjust with the rotary control). Position tissue evenly between the staple cartridge and anvil, avoiding excess tissue.
• 4. Clamp tissue by closing the movable handle, then release the handle, press the green safety and perform firing. Each firing advances the cutting action approximately 15 mm; after engaging the green safety, complete the cut to the end before pulling the black reset button. Use the black scale near the reset button or on the cartridge to confirm position.
• Note: Always press the green safety before firing to avoid damage to internal rack.
• 5. After stapling and cutting, pull the black reset button to release tissue from the cartridge head. Reclose the cartridge head using the movable handle and withdraw the instrument.
• Note: After cutting, pull the black reset button without holding the movable handle; holding it may prevent the button from moving.
• 6. Cartridge replacement: To replace cartridges intraoperatively, open the cartridge head, pull the blue unload button back and turn the cartridge counterclockwise to remove it. Install a new cartridge following step 1.
• 7. Configuration: The stapler body is available in three handle lengths: Long (L), Medium/Standard (M) and Short (S). The body accepts different disposable staple cartridge types; cartridges are single-use.
