Product overviewDisposable laparoscopic trocar set PC series provides sterile single-use puncture sleeves and cores designed for establishing laparoscopic access and maintaining insufflation during minimally invasive abdominal or thoracic surgery. Integrated sealing systems and valves facilitate instrument passage while limiting gas leakage.
ApplicationClinically indicated for laparoscopic procedures to create and maintain a surgical access channel.
Key benefits- Simplifying the puncture process: Sharp trocars and cannulas enable controlled entry; single-use design ensures a sterile, sharp instrument for each procedure, reducing infection risk.
- Reducing the risk of complications: Safety features such as anti-slip handles and ergonomic grips support precise control and reduce accidental tissue injury.
- Enhanced efficiency and convenience: Disposable components remove the need for re-sterilization; variants with integrated trocars and valves streamline trocar insertion and instrument exchange, shortening procedure time.
- Improved patient outcomes: Accurate access and reduced complications minimise tissue trauma and postoperative pain, supporting faster recovery.
How to use- 1. Use aseptic technique to open the sterile package; avoid dropping the instrument into the sterile field.
- 2. Puncture core and sleeve are packaged separately. Assemble by inserting the core into the sleeve until it locks. Ensure the choke valve is closed prior to use (perpendicular to the gas port).
- 3. Make a skin incision large enough for the trocar to prevent excessive insertion force.
- 4. Insert the trocar through the incision, rotating 30°–90° while applying gentle, rhythmic pressure.
- 5. After entry into the abdominal or thoracic cavity, depress the core release to remove the core and leave the sleeve in place; the inner sealing layer closes automatically.
- 6. Connect insufflation tubing to the gas injection valve on the sleeve and open the choke valve to insufflate; the sealing system remains closed when no instrument is present.
- 7. To remove a specimen, press the middle body lock, lift the sealing cap to extract the specimen, then replace the cap until the lock audibly engages.
- 8. At the end of the procedure, remove the insufflation tube, open the choke valve and release gas from the cavity.
