Principle
This is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay using antibodies conjugated to colored particles precoated on the sample pad. During testing, specimen mixes with the antibody–colored particle conjugate and migrates along the membrane. Drug conjugates immobilized on the test region compete with free drug in the specimen for antibody binding. If drug concentration exceeds the cutoff, competition prevents formation of a colored band in the test region (positive). If drug is absent or below cutoff, a colored band forms in the test region (negative). A colored control band confirms correct specimen volume and membrane flow.

Usage / procedure
Bring tests and specimens to room temperature (15–30°C) before use.
1. Open sealed pouch and place test on a clean, level surface. Perform assay within one hour after opening for best results.
2. Remove cap and immerse strip(s) vertically in urine for 10–15 seconds. Avoid touching the plastic housing when immersing.
3. Place test on a non‑absorbent flat surface, start timer and read result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret after 8 minutes.

Result interpretation
POSITIVE: Only control band (C) appears; no visible band in test region(s) (T).
NEGATIVE: Two bands appear — control (C) and test (T).
INVALID: Control band fails to appear; discard result and repeat test.
NOTE: Any shade of color in the test region should be considered negative. This is a qualitative screening test and does not provide analyte concentration. Insufficient specimen, incorrect procedure or expired tests may cause invalid results.
