Overview
The CX2x two-function pediatric hospital bed is a manually operated patient bed designed for pediatric hospitals, pediatric wards and rehabilitation facilities. It provides adjustable back-rest and knee-rest, liftable aluminum alloy guardrails with anti-pinch protection, PP blow-moulded head and foot boards and 5" silent castors with independent brakes to support safe inpatient care for children.

Design
The bed frame is formed by sheet metal bending and welded construction to minimize spray-coating dead angles and improve appearance.

Materials

• Plastic: virgin ABS, tensile strength up to 30 MPa, sterilizable at 100°C.
• Steels & painting: Baosteel with 11-step epoxy coating, ASTM-tested antibacterial finish, paint thickness 0.12 mm.

Welding
Panasonic robotic welding ensures 360° continuous welding of steel components for consistent strength and finish.

Hand control
Two manual cranks control back-rest and knee-rest adjustments (two-function manual operation) for reliable, maintenance‑friendly positioning.

Platform
Concave ventilated plastic-sprayed bed panel for improved air permeability to help prevent pressure ulcers; bed panel fastened with sheet metal connectors for easy assembly and service.

Guardrail
Aluminum alloy liftable guardrails with protective tube spacing <8 cm, three adjustable height positions and anti-pinch features to enhance child safety.

Head & Foot board
Integrated PP blow-moulded head and foot boards with rounded design and built-in chart holder to protect patient and bed during transfers and against wall impact.

Castors
5" silent castors with independent brakes on each caster for smooth mobility and secure locking.

Drainage hooks
Two mobile plastic drainage hooks supplied.
