delicate precision work and long-lasting performance for perfect ceramic restorations
The ZR abrasives (used in the laboratory turbine with water cooling) are indicated for the final shaping of the ceramic restoration. Available in three different grit sizes – coarse, normal and fine –, the diamond-coated abrasive instruments enable delicate precision work and give restorations an elegant finish.
The ZR abrasives are color-coded for easy differentiation. The shank of each bur is marked with a green and white, blue and white or red and white ring to indicate the grit size.
The special bond which permanently embeds the diamond grains ensures a long service life.
Diamond-coated ZR discs are indicated for the careful separation of frameworks or smoothing approximal areas in a targeted and gentle manner.
Tip: The ZR abrasives are available in different shapes and sizes to suit any indication. The “round” shape, for example, is particularly helpful when it comes to the precise finishing of the occlusal surface. The “inverted cone” is ideal for reworking fissures, whereas the “flame” is perfect for retouching the outer contours. The “grenade” can be used to define microtextures, such as perikymata, and the “egg” can be used to create a chamfer.
