Design and operation
The unit is engineered for 24/7 clinical use with a microprocessor-based digital controller, automatic defrost, and an energy-efficient refrigeration circuit using R134a (CFC-free). Interior components include a 304 stainless steel lining, heated tempered double-glass doors and an acrylic inner door to limit temperature loss during access. Low-noise EBM condenser fan, integrated LED lighting and heavy-duty caster wheels support efficient operation and handling. Safety is provided by audible and visual alarms for high/low temperature, sensor fault, power failure and door-open conditions.
