VAC-V2 (EX)-H Gas Permeability Tester is a differential-pressure method instrument designed to determine gas transmission rate and related permeability parameters for common gases as well as toxic, flammable or explosive gases. It is suitable for plastic films, composite films, high-barrier materials, sheeting and aluminum foils across varied temperatures.
Product Features- Advanced split control system realizes complete separation of the tester mainframe and control module to ensure testing safety.
- Suitable for gas transmission rate determination of flammable, explosive or toxic gases.
- Performs permeability tests under normal pressure and high pressure conditions.
- Passed TUV safety certification.
- Three independent test cells enable testing of three identical or different samples simultaneously.
- Determines gas transmission rate, permeability coefficient, solubility coefficient and diffusion coefficient simultaneously.
- Wide-range & high-precision liquid circulation temperature controller supports tests under varied conditions.
- Dual testing process judgment patterns available: Proportional Mode and Fuzzy Mode.
- Data fitting at any temperature; test results under extreme conditions can be obtained easily.
- PC-controlled, allowing automated execution of the whole test process.
- Reference film available for rapid calibration to ensure accuracy and versatility of test data.
- Equipped with RS232 universal data port for data transfer.
- Compatible with Lystem Laboratory Data Sharing System for unified management of test results and reports.
PrincipleThe tester operates on the differential-pressure method: a pre-conditioned sample is clamped between an upper (higher-pressure) and lower (lower-pressure) testing chamber. The lower chamber is evacuated and the whole system evacuated; when the desired vacuum is reached the lower chamber is closed and the test gas at a set pressure is introduced to the upper chamber to create a constant, adjustable pressure difference. Gas permeates through the sample from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side and permeability parameters are obtained by monitoring pressure changes in the lower chamber.
