Description

Overview
The BOND-PRIME staining platform delivers high productivity, universal access and an adaptable workflow to process batched, continuous, single-slide or STAT cases. The system produces consistent, high-quality IHC and ISH staining with an average IHC slide turnaround time (TAT) of 95 minutes and supports accelerated processing for single/STAT slides as well as full loads.

Key Features
  • Universal access: load any slide in any combination with any reagent at any time using independent Active Reagent Control (ARC) modules (individual staining chambers).
  • ARC technology: precise dispense, reagent flow control and controlled incubation for reproducible staining results.
  • Flexible workflow: handles single slides, complete cases, full batches or mixed workflows with continuous load/unload so finished slides do not block new processing.
  • High reagent capacity: 70 open-access reagent positions and bulk reagent support (up to >200-slide bulk reagent capacity with large containers).
  • High throughput architecture: multi-drawer slide arrangement to support laboratory productivity and parallel processing.
  • Integrated safety and waste handling: built-in hazardous waste container and options for external bulk waste management.

Product Features (additional details)
  • Independent ARC modules allow mixed protocols, pretreatments, chromogens and detection chemistries to run concurrently.
  • Supports multiple reagent container sizes (7 mL, 30 mL, 6 mL titration vials/inserts) and bulk containers (1.25 L or 4.5 L for DI water).
  • Next-generation robotics and optimized protocols enable rapid processing and reduced TATs.
  • ARC Covertile: semi-permanent self-cleaning sealing to reduce reagent use and protect tissue morphology.
  • Detection options include BOND-PRIME Polymer DAB, BOND-PRIME Polymer AP, ChromoPlex 1 Dual Detection; hematoxylin supplied separately.
