Description

Overview
The BOND-III is a compact, fully automated immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) staining system designed for clinical and research laboratories. It delivers reproducible staining with optimized reagent management and a reduced laboratory footprint while preserving tissue morphology through controlled dispensing.

Key features
  • High throughput on limited floor space: up to 62% more slide throughput per m2 compared with other leading instruments.
  • Covertile dispensing system to maintain tissue morphology and minimize reagent waste.
  • Flexible reagent formats and capacity: supports 7 mL and 30 mL containers, titration 6 mL, bulk 2 L or 5 L; 36 reagent containers in total.
  • User-focused design: intuitive visual user interface, case management with 3 independent trays, and the ability to change reagents during protocol runs.
  • Reagent monitoring: LED backlighting for bulk reagent levels and visual alerts for top-up or waste emptying.

Performance and workflow benefits
  • Consistent staining quality and reproducibility across cases to help accelerate diagnostic workflows.
  • Minimized reagent volumes per slide and separation of hazardous versus standard waste to simplify disposal.
  • Immediate reagent access with real-time measurements and alerts to support uninterrupted protocols and continuous operation.

Technical specifications
  • Dimensions (W × H × D): 790 mm × 1378 mm × 826 mm
