Overview

The Visoria P polarization microscope is designed to analyze optical properties of birefringent and anisotropic materials such as minerals, rocks, polymers and composites. Encoded functions, automatic illumination settings and ergonomic design streamline laboratory workflows.

Simplify documentation

Digital operation
The Visoria P digital version operates without eyepieces: view and document images on a tablet, share results quickly and save bench space by removing the need for a dedicated PC.

Enersight software platform (integrated functions)
Extend and streamline imaging workflows with Enersight. Key functions include:
  • XY stitching (manual stage) to increase field of view at high resolution.
  • Extended depth of field (EDOF) for sharp images of samples with topography.
  • Quick Brightness to capture images with optimal illumination and camera settings.
  • Automatic shading correction for uneven illumination.
  • Multi-contrast image merging (e.g., brightfield + polarization) to improve sample interpretation.

Conoscopy and specialized analysis
Conoscopy capabilities allow evaluation of optical behavior of anisotropic materials. Available conoscopy modules:
