Description

The technique of placing the telescopic nail is simple and avoids opening the joints. Telescopic nails are centromedullary nails locked into the epiphyses. They are composed of a female part into which slides a male part that terminates in an “L”. They are custom-made. The diameter and the length of the nail are calculated using telemetric X- rays.
