Product overview
The QUART mamFS phantom is designed for QA/QC testing in conventional and digital mammography according to DIN/IEC requirements. A single exposure captures the necessary image data to assess imaging quality. Test images are evaluated visually and, where applicable, by densitometry for conventional systems. The phantom supports routine constancy checks and compliance verification for screening and clinical systems.

Mode of operation
Use the phantom during initial installation to establish a visual reference image. Perform regular checks to verify constancy of imaging performance. Visual evaluation of test images reveals degradation of image quality. For conventional X-ray technology, grey-value evaluation can be performed with a densitometer; simple quality checks are also possible for digital mammography systems.
