Description

Direct attachment for implant retained overdenture OT Equator is the new “narrow” profile titanium attachment available for all implant platforms, diameters and connections. OT Equator is the smallest dimensional overdenture attachment, in terms of size, available on the market today counting on reduced diameter and height. The maximum vertical dimension (attachment + retentive cap and housing) is only 2.1 mm with a diameter (attachment + retentive cap and housing) of 4.5 mm. This system offers multiple technical solutions, depending on the prosthetic project, with the possibility of planning various types of overdenture treatments. The OT Equator attachment is fabricated in titanium material (grade 5 Eli) with a nitride coating surface. This treatment improve the hardness up to 1600 Vickers with less adhesion of plaque and bacteria and maximum wear-resistance over time. The function of this attachment is guaranteed by the coupling between the hemisphere and the retentive cap. The retentive caps are available in different colours corresponding to different levels of retention and must always be used with the appropriate metal housings to ensure maximum effectiveness and ease of replacement both in the dental cabinet and in the laboratory. Each OT Equator attachment is available in various gingival heights, depending on the implant platform, starting from a minimum of 0.5mm up to a maximum of 7.0mm. It is also manufactured to be compatible with ‘unknown’ dental implants of which the dentist has no information!
