Description

TOSCA Standard Anterior Cervical Stabilization Semi-rigid design with large angle variability Mono- and bicortical screw fixation Thin plate design of 1.6 mm TOSCA® Standard is designed according to the principle of semi-rigid plate and screw connections and is used for anterior stabilization of the cervical spine, TOSCA® Standard can be used either monocortically or bicortically due to the large selection of screw lengths up to 26 mm. Despite the best possible stabilization, TOSCA® Standard with its very thin plate design and semi-rigid screw connection allows for load-sharing with the bone to facilitate segmental fusion (Wolff’s law). TOSCA® Standard offers the user a high flexibility in anterior stabilization from C2 to C7. Pre-lordosed plates are available in different lenghts for one to four segment constructs. The self-tapping standard screws are available in different lengths and diameters. With 5° angular variability, TOSCA® Standard has ample variability. At 1.6mm TOSCA® Standard is one of the thinnest cervical plates on the market. In addition, TOSCA® Standard can be connected to all SIGNUS cervical interbody implants RABEA®, NUBIC® and JASPIS® ST as well as to a bone graft to ensure a secure construct.Minimized stress shielding Optimized load transmission and promotion of fusion (Wolff’s law) Optimal fit for a wide variety of patient anatomies In most cases implantable without additional bending Mono- and bicortical stabilization No need for pre-tapping Simple size identification Made of a biocompatible titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) with proven strength.
