The DS 50 Series of compact washer-disinfectors represents the ideal aid for the cleaning and thermal disinfection of all types of surgical instruments, with a processing capacity of one DIN tray. This series’ devices automatically execute pre-washing, washing, and thermal disinfection phases. At the end of the cycle, the instruments are ready for sterilization with no further handling. The DS 50 Series allows a simple installation. Depending on the model, it can be installed above a counter, undercounter, and free-standing. All devices of the series provide a practical and safe solution for chemical storage, with the DS 50 HDRS model presenting a bottom basement that allocates up to two 5-liter chemical containers. The built-in water softener provides optimal cleaning effectiveness. The drop-down door, available in full-glass or stainless steel, can conveniently be used as a loading platform for an ergonomic loading and unloading process. Hygienic Design The washing chamber, spray arms, and tank filters are made of high quality AISI 316 L stainless steel (DIN 1.4404) for long-term reliability and cleanliness. The washing chamber has rounded edges to avoid any dirt traps, minimizing the risk of microbial growth. On the bottom and the top of the chamber, the two rotary spray arms ensure optimal cleaning efficacy.
