Product overview
TopAir ductless hybrid laminar airflow hoods combine the containment function of ductless fume hoods with a laminar clean bench down-flow. They are designed for laboratories requiring Class 100 / ISO 5 conditions at the work area while providing operator protection via a front inflow.

Filtration and airflow

• Dual filtration: independent supply and exhaust paths
• Supply path: pre-filter, HEPA and fan producing a laminar down-flow over the workspace
• Exhaust path: activated carbon filter and fan that collect down-flow and create protective inflow at the front sash
• Both inflow and down-flow pass through the carbon filter before being exhausted back to the laboratory

Structure

• 8 mm welded white polypropylene with high chemical resistance
• Double back wall with baffle for airflow control
• Built-in sealed polypropylene worktop (stainless steel optional)
• Tempered glass full-opening sliding front sash with counterweight
• Extraction collar for optional external exhaust

• Automatic laminar down-flow velocity with manual inflow adjustment; safety shutdown of down-flow if inflow fails
