The Certified USB Cable Isolator provides complete galvanic separation for all USB connections, effectively isolating a standard PC from critical or safety-sensitive applications. It offers a tested isolation voltage of up to 7500 V DC for 1 second with single insulation and a certified reinforced isolation of 4000 Vrms for 1 minute in accordance with EN 60601-1 Rev. 3.1, making it ideal for sensitive and medical applications. The isolator is equipped with USB Type A and Type B connectors and features short-circuit protection. An integrated red LED indicator alerts the user to overload conditions, and the output is automatically deactivated in the event of an overload to prevent damage to connected devices.
