EMOSAFE EN-70 network isolators withstand 5000 VAC for one minute and support speeds of up to 1 Gigabit / s. EMOSAFE EN-70 Series Network Isolators are designed for copper-based Ethernet connections across private, public, and commercial networks, with a special focus on medical technology applications. They protect both patients and operators from leakage currents and fully comply with the stringent requirements of the UL/IEC 60601-1 standard for galvanic isolation in medical electrical systems. The EMOSAFE EN-70 Series Isolators are available in either built-in or external versions and provide electrical isolation up to 5 kV AC for one minute, as well as continuous insulation for AC voltages up to 400 V. EMOSAFE EN-70 isolators interrupt all galvanic connections, including wires and shielding, between devices connected via copper network cables. This prevents potential equalization currents and protects both devices and users from transient overvoltages caused by installation errors, lightning strikes, switching operations, or electrostatic discharge.
