Overview
HEATmarker™ is a miniaturised, self-adhesive time–temperature indicator designed to be applied to temperature‑sensitive medical products or their outer packaging. It uses patented colour‑change chemistry to provide an irreversible visual signal of cumulative heat exposure and supports identification of units that have reached endpoint conditions.

• Self-adhesive, miniaturised label suitable for application to individual units, including puncture or curved surfaces.
• Time–temperature integrator: cumulative effects of time and temperature cause a gradual, irreversible colour change that indicates exposure over time.
• Visual endpoint: the indication area darkens with exposure; endpoint is reached when the indication area is the same colour as or darker than the outer ring.
• Coloured laminate for reliable indication when applied to outer packaging under indoor lighting.
• Multiple series/options available to match product stability requirements (different response times and specified temperatures).

Product series and typical response profiles

• HEATmarker Hx Series — specified for 37°C; response time range approximately 9–36 days at 37°C (examples include ~9‑day and ~36‑day endpoints for different product stabilities).
• HEATmarker Hu Series — specified for 25°C; response time range approximately 14–41 days at 25°C.
• HEATmarker M, H and E — series offering time–temperature profiles across a broader range, e.g. ~8 days at 8°C up to ~30 days at 60°C, to support varied storage/transport conditions.

How it works

• Each HEATmarker has a defined temperature profile: a combination of specified temperature and response time. The indicator reaches its endpoint when cumulative exposure meets the limits of that profile.
• Colour change is cumulative and irreversible, enabling a straightforward visual decision about product use, quarantine or disposal.
