ASAHI Tellus is a guiding catheter for peripheral interventional radiology. It combines a soft tapered tip for atraumatic navigation, a composite-braid shaft for kink resistance and enhanced pushability, and a lumen sized to deliver a wide range of embolic materials. Intended for use with compatible microcatheters, guidewires and contrast injection protocols.

Shaft braiding
Unique composite braid using two wires of different thickness delivers kink resistance, improved shaft rigidity and a larger internal lumen for embolic delivery.

• Improved torque transmission and push control for precise placement

Flow Rate / Setting parameter
Flow rate examples shown as measured under the conditions below. Setting parameter: Temperature of contrast medium: 37℃, Linear rise seconds: 0.3s

• Iodine content 300 mg/ml — 6.0 ml/s (10 ml volume)
• Iodine content 370 mg/ml — 3.0 ml/s (10 ml volume)

Note: Actual operational flow rate may be lower depending on contrast viscosity and clinical conditions. Dead space volume measured with connected clinical equipment.
