The Astrolabe CMS 2.3 (Carpal Modular System) is indicated for carpal bone fusion procedures, including mediocarpal arthrodesis (four-corner fusion) and STT (Scapho-Trapezio-Trapezoid) arthrodesis.

The system is designed to provide stable fixation and solid anchorage to promote reliable osseous union. In four-corner fusion procedures, it enables compression and stabilization of the capitate, lunate, hamate, and triquetrum (pyramidal) following scaphoid excision. For STT arthrodesis, the CMS 2.3 supports stable fixation of the scaphoid, trapezoid, and trapezium, ensuring controlled compression across the fusion site.

Utilizing 2.3 mm fixation elements, the system offers low-profile design and rigid construct stability, supporting proper alignment, load distribution, and conditions favorable for bone consolidation while preserving wrist biomechanics as much as clinically possible.
