Description

The Astrolabe Cannulated Bone Screws 3.0 mm - Conical Head - are intended for forefoot surgical procedures requiring precise fixation and stable fragment control.

These screws are indicated for use in procedures such as:
  • Akin osteotomy
  • Austin–Chevron osteotomy
  • Distal metatarsal osteotomy
  • Proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint arthrodesis in hammertoe correction
  • Moberg osteotomy
  • Scarf osteotomy
  • Proximal osteotomies of the first ray
  • Proximal osteotomies of the lesser metatarsals
  • Fifth metatarsal osteotomy for Tailor’s bunion (bunionette)

The cannulated design enables guided insertion over a guide wire, ensuring accurate positioning and controlled alignment. The screw configuration provides stable internal fixation, supporting reliable construct formation and favorable conditions for osseous consolidation in corrective and reconstructive forefoot procedures.

Note: Astrolabe sells exclusively to distributors (not end-users). This plate is part of a complete system. Please refer to the PDF for the full set of components. Plates, screws, and instruments are not sold individually.
