Product description
Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) is the cell-free liquid fraction obtained from aseptically collected, coagulated fetal bovine blood after centrifugation. Sterile FBS is produced by triple filtration at 0.1 µm. FBS provides proteins, growth factors and attachment factors that support maintenance, proliferation and adhesion of eukaryotic cells in vitro.

FBS Premium is a selection of top-performing batches chosen for low endotoxin and hemoglobin levels and consistent cell growth across four reference cell lines. Selecting FBS Premium reduces the need for in-house batch qualification and batch reservation.
