Description

Description
FreeAdd 1X is a chemically defined substitute for animal serum. It provides the elements and nutrients required for proliferation and the maintenance of cellular characteristics. FreeAdd replaces most supplements such as fetal bovine serum to replicate the normal extracellular environment, making culture conditions predictable, safe and consistent. Because it is fully defined, batch selection testing is not required. FreeAdd is suitable for use with most animal cell types, including cell lines and primary cells, adherent or suspension.
