Cyclin and its companion cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) form a composite stuff, and activates the protein kinase function of CDK. Cyclin 1, also known as PRAD-1 or Bc1-1, is a key cell cycle regulatory protein used in the study of B-cell lymphoma, breast cancer, squamous esophageal carcinoma and lung cancer.
