Solution 11 – Stabilization buffer is a weakly alkaline aqueous solution of inorganic base. The pH value is in the range of 8.00 – 9.00. Solution 11 – Stabilization buffer can be used for neutralization of weakly acidic solutions which is of particular importance for DNA quantification. Solution 11 – Stabilization buffer facilitates precise DNA content quantification of acidic cell samples by raising the pH. Neutralizing acidic cell samples is important for DNA stabilization, and potentiates the fluorescence signals of cell dyes such as DAPI and Propidium Iodide.
