Solution 13 – AO•DAP is a staining reagent containing acridine orange (AO) and 4’,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI). It is used to quantify cell concentration and viability of nucleated animal cell samples. Solution 13 – AO•DAPI contains two different dyes: AO stains all nucleated cells and DAPI stains nonviable cells only. Solution 13 – AO•DAPI is used with the NC-slide A2™ and NC-slide A8™.
