Most people with STI have no symptoms, so early diagnosis is one of the key factors to prevent transmission of the disease. Currently, molecular diagnosis is the most sensitive and accurate method for detection of sexually transmitted pathogens. Increasingly, multiplex PCR is being used for STI testing, enabling the simultaneous detection of significant sexually transmitted pathogens. SMARTCHEK® STI Testing Kit is a real-time polymerase chain reaction assay, intended for diagnosis of sexually transmitted infection using GENECHECKER® UF-300 and UF-340 Real-time PCR System. 02 BETTER DETECTION ASSAY FOR YOUR TIMELY AND ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS This assay is containing specific primer pairs and probes of Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU), Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Mycoplasma hominis (MH), Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), and Trichomanas vaginalis (TV) which are most common sexually transmitted pathogens.
