Product overview
COPAL® knee moulds are single-use moulds designed to fabricate temporary knee spacers by filling the moulds with bone cement. They allow preparation of articulating spacers that support patient mobilisation during the interim phase between explantation and reimplantation. Multiple sizes and included components enable adaptation to patient anatomy. The prepared spacers are suitable for use on the left or right knee and provide a reproducible spacer geometry.

Indications
COPAL® knee moulds are indicated for preparation of temporary knee spacers as part of a two-stage revision (septic revision) following explantation of an infected or inflammatory joint endoprosthesis. The spacers are used during the first stage after explantation and are removed prior to implantation of a new endoprosthesis in the second stage.
