OverviewPALACOS® R by Heraeus Medical is a high‑viscosity bone cement without antibiotics. The proven formulation was introduced in 1959 and has been used in over 40 million procedures worldwide. The cement is tinted green using chlorophyll (food colour E141) to aid intraoperative visualisation.
