The Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) Test kit S0005 is a rapid, visual aid for diagnosis and treatment evaluation of bacterial vaginosis in clinical settings. The kit uses a polyamine (amine) colorimetric reaction on a double-membrane card designed for easy one-step operation. Sample type: vaginal secretion. Intended users: clinical laboratories and point-of-care healthcare professionals.

Principle
The test detects amine/polyamine associated with BV by color development in the test well. After reaction with extraction solution, the specimen is applied to the sample well (S). The amine signal is amplified through the double-membrane; sufficient amine produces a blue-purple band at the Test well (T) indicating a positive result. A yellow-green band or absence of a colored band indicates a negative result. No instrumentation is required; interpretation is visual.
