Concept and DevelopmentBuilding on the proven PRS and PRS RX generations and developed with clinical advisory input, the PRS Phoenix system updates plate geometries, instruments and techniques to increase intraoperative flexibility and facilitate reproducible fixation strategies.
Small FragmentThe small fragment set includes three new anatomically contoured plates featuring pre-angled holes or slots to facilitate screw placement from common anterior approaches, improving access to high-quality bone corridors.
Large FragmentThe large fragment solutions include bendable plates allowing intraoperative adaptation to patient anatomy and length determination. These plates support conventional fixation and can be contoured to patient-specific geometry.
Reduction InstrumentationNew reduction clamps and instruments provide versatility for open and partially minimally invasive applications. The instrument set includes a universal handle and multiple attachments, enabling independent positioning of arms and secure connection. The crown tip allows direct placement on bone or screw heads for effective force transmission during reduction.
Cannulated 8.5 mm ScrewExpanded cannulated 8.5 mm screws enable SI joint connection and fragment stabilization. Designed to minimize soft tissue irritation, these screws are suitable for minimally invasive and open approaches and are supplied with washers to improve contact in osteoporotic bone.
Plate TechnologyONE Technology across ITS. implants: plates are manufactured from Titanium Grade 2 while screws use a harder titanium alloy. Plate holes are predominantly non-threaded (except oblong holes) to accept both non-locking and locking screws, supporting hybrid fixation strategies.
